PT2 Moodboard - Porcia

 INSPIRATION:

• some inspiration for our film 'ready or not', is from the movie Hush.
• The character in the movie Hush is a psychopath so the intruder/ Night stalker in our film 'ready of not' is also a psychopath.
• Our film is a psychological thriller.
• In the movie hush the stalker appears at night time wish adds to the suspense and tension.
• The girl is also home alone so from this we can get a lot of inspiration from the movie along with a lot of inspirational photos, angles and compositions as well as lighting. 
• In the film the intruder is right behind her and she doesn't notice that is how we got the idea to leave the back door open where the intruder entered the house and the intruder standing behind the girl without her noticing.

MOOD BOARD FOR LOCATION AND SETTING:

Its night time and a girl is home alone inside cooking. Intruder outside of the house staring in. Establishing shot of the house for our first shot. Lighting is dark outside as shooting film at night.

MOOD BOARD FOR CHARACTERS ALONG WITH THEIR COSTUMES AND PROPS:

The girl Molly is an innocent student home alone cooking dinner. She is wearing comfy clothes such as track pants and a jumper. One thing she wears will be white to represent the innocence she holds.

The intruder named Richard also known as the night stalker will be wearing black pants and black hoodie. We wont be able to see him - This mystery adds to the psychology of the thriller and creates more tension and suspense as the audience doesn't know who the intruder is.

Props will be a knife in the kitchen which is sharp and silver. It is a big knife with a very sharp end that could badly injure someone. Two phones will be used in our film - One for the girl and one for the intruder - The actors we use can just use their phones. Books will also be seen in kitchen to show audience that Molly is a student. There will be cooking equipment too throughout the kitchen.

MOOD BOARD FOR COLOURS, LIGHTING, SOUND AND TITLE ETC:

Lighting is going to be dark outside but bright inside where Molly is cooking. The overall mood and tone will be suspenseful and dark. White represents innocence and black darkness.
