  1. Hi Kevin

    Overall Score: 13/20

    - KPM Productions logo needs to stay on the screen longer. You only just make out the name before it's whipped off the screen
    - Some elements that worked well were the types of shots you had in here.
    - The glitches and blackouts mid-shot don't really add to your overall effect of building suspense. Be very intentional with After Effects and only use them to build to the overall effect.
    - Lack of music or sound effects in the beginning is confusing and could have been a more impacting opening to have a soundtrack underneath the opening establishing shot. Things like chirping crickets or creepy footsteps could have been a great addition to the opening shot. Could have even been cool to have the chopping sound effect bleed into that opening shot
    - Cutting shot needs background noise too - starting the soundtrack earlier could have worked or even the background noise of a TV or something to add to the verisimilitude
    - it is effective cutting between inside and view from someone watching victim working inside the house
    - Opening title could stay on screen and bleed onto next shot? Works well as a title.
    - Making Sure the correct items are in focus is a good idea to check, too! Things like the phone of the stalker and the phone in the house, in those shots, the background is in focus and the phones are blurred or out of focus. This needs to be a detail that is taken into account with the filming. It could have been a good opportunity to rack / pull focus to draw the audiences attention onto the important text
    - sound for thoughts / voice over doesn't match very well. A pity you didn't have natural sound recorded on the day
    - nice selection of shots for Phoebe walking with the knife. This was a great opportunity to play around with the sound so it matches the intensity and builds suspense. Adding in effects like a heartbeat or another track underneath to add to the building suspense would have been very effective
    - Great ending shot with the placement of the camera catching the guy coming up behind her
    - I like the fact that you had an open end with the scream. That is great
    - Another conventional feature of movies / opening sequences is the credits at the end. It is a pity these are missing because these are a really important feature of your finished product.
